The property is located in the historic neighborhood of Albayzin. It's walkable from the downtown Centre of the city as well as the Alhambra. Bus no 31 and 32 stops just outside the property gate so it's super convenient to travel around the city. You can walk to San Nicolas viewpoint in less than 5 mins and there are many good restaurants like Las Tomasas and eateries in Plaza Larga which are close to the property. The property itself is a 16th century building which has been tastefully converted into a classy hotel by the owners. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable and they had good heating in the room which was a must as we travelled in winters. The best part is the owners and the staff. We were warmly received and welcomed by Ana upon arrival. She patiently explained everything about Granada and marked it down on a physical map. The breakfast was homely and fulfilling with options of eggs, bacon, fresh fruits, bread, tea and coffee. As we were going to check out early in the morning the property arranged for a taxi which was there sharp at 6 am. The owners were so thoughtful that they kept a takeaway basket of breakfast at our door the other night before we checked out. All in all it was a wonderful experience staying at Hotel Santa Isabel La Real and would surely recommend it to everyone who wants to experience a warm and homely experience in the heart of Albayzin in Granada.

The venue was in a perfect spot for us and near what we were looking for. The parking facility was excellent. The Hotel Hosts were outstanding and the welcoming greeting we received from Igno was unbeatable (magnificent recommendations for us first timers at Granada). Breakfast was very good and eggs ala carte were great. The local bus stop was steps away to get to La Alhambra or many other city areas if walking was not desired (we did not use the car in the 2 nights we stayed). Laundry service was an added plus. Room and bedding were very comfortable and cleanliness and attention to detail was evident everywhere. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Luis

Loved the traditional style of this hotel and its location. Ideal for accessing everywhere on foot if you want or take the bus which stops almost outside the front door. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were great. There are places to sit and read and a drinks section that’s always available and full. Not a machine, a kettle and a coffee pot with good selection of others beverages too. A stand out quality of this hotel is the owner, Ingo. He is there to meet you and goes over everything you need to know for your visit and can help organise things for you. Stand out service from a lovely man.

Alison

It is a family owned and operated boutique hotel that has been lovingly restored. The central patio creates a delightful ambiance. The salon is comfortably furnished with hot and cold drinks available. The family/staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and furnished with Andalusian style furniture. Nothing fancy but very comfortable. Our bath and bedroom windows looked out on a quiet street and rooftops of the Albaicín, great neighborhood for exploring winding streets with superb views of the Alhambra. There is a convenient mini bus that stops practically at the front door.

Gertrude

The hotel is in the heart of the Albacin, with a beautiful square at 2 minutes walk with authentic lovely restaurants, absolutely delightful. Not to mention the evening view on the Alhambra, stunning! Breakfast was delicious: homemade yoghurt and cakes, loads of fresh fruits and we could order anything hot. Staff were beyond helpful, leaving us the key of the place so we could come back after visiting the Alhambra, have some lemonade and a rest before driving back to our holiday stay on the coast.
